So what do our guests say about their stay?
Foxwood on Skye is one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed at in many years of traveling. All the essentials of were there: clean room, wonderful hot shower, warm cosy living room to curl up when it's pouring. The location is also perfectly central on the Isle of Skye, with easy access to both the North and South, and especially convenient access to the Talisker distillery ;) and has absolutely stunning views of the Cuillin mountains from the living room. But especially memorable were Dave and Katrina's kindness and hospitality. The breakfast is unique. During our 5 days there they cooked hands down the best B&B breakfasts we've ever had: tasty, hearty, varied, and as traditional as you want. Be sure to visit the Iron Age round house ruin Dun Beag, which has an amazing view and is less than 5min from Foxwood. Also a short drive from a nice pub (The Old Inn) and Talisker distillery. Highly recommended. We hope to come back soon!
